Haul: SuperSale Bazaar November 2014 @ the World Trade Center + Me & U + Metro Find!

at 11:23 PM 3 comments
Good evening lovelies! Just started with my new work today and it was... different. I guess one day wouldn't be enough to say how things will go, but I'm keeping my hopes and spirit high :)

Anyway, last 11/08/2014, my friend and I went to Super Sale Bazaar at the World Trade Center. I was quite disappointed at the number of booths, but somehow thankful as I wont hurt my wallet that much :P
Basically, I got a few items. This is just gonna be a quick haul post. More details after the break :)

Beauty Haven: Purebeauty Mini-Haul + Review: Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipstick in Blushing Bali

at 10:00 AM 5 comments
Good morning, Lovelies! (and Gents? hihihi)

I’ve been hearing (reading) about Purebeauty for a long time now, but haven’t had the chance to go shop there. However, just around a month ago while strolling around Glorietta (Yay freedom!:P) I happened to glance on the upper floor, and from where I was standing, I saw “PUREBEAUTY” in silver letters, so I thought “Ahh may Purebeauty pala dito sa Glorietta” because I only know of the Serendra branch.

Some time later, Manila Shopper announced that there would be a Purebeauty sale. Being the bargain hunter that I am, I decided to go to that particular Glorietta branch with my colleague-slash-friend Abby (Hi Abby! :D) and to my surprise, it was no longer there! I believed I have entered the twilight zone! Hahaha. We googled the Makati branch and found out that Purebeauty Glorietta was housed in Beauty Cocktails.

Really, until now, I don’t know what happened back then. O__O

And so, upon visiting Beauty Cocktails, of course... I wasn't able to resist going out of the store without buying anything! Oh no, please don't judge me. The items I bought are quite steals, I promise! :) More details after the break!

Valentines Haul! (Late Upload)

at 6:49 PM 8 comments
Happy Valentines Day! Hahaha.

It's never too late to celebrate love anyway, right?

Two friends and I (a group we fondly call VST - An acronym of our surnames) celebrate the day of hearts together every year. It is our tradition which we try not to break no matter what the circumstance is. Our preboard exams happened the weekend after Valentines day, so my friends and I had to prepare for it tremendously (read: stress) but we still celebrated. Only, we did so after the preboard exams. :)

Last year, we went skating and malling the whole day. This year, we had no plan as we are busy with the review, but just spending the day together was enough. Anything goes! And what happens when three pretty ladies with no agenda end up in a mall? SHOPPING! \:D/

And here we have it, my Valentines Haul.

Solemate Flats

Eye Mask and Ear plugs

Aido Lipstick

Shower cap

Nail Polish

Perfume Bar

Nose Pack

Moisturizer
Reviews to follow :)

Here's a picture of me and my lovely dates:

Happy Valentines Day again to all of us! <3

Note to self: No more shopping until after the board exam. Control.

Surprise Etude House Haul PLUS Yves Rocher

at 11:00 PM 2 comments
Hi Ladies! How have you all been?

You may be wondering why this post is titled as such. Surprise because, well, I surprised myself. Hahaha.

A friend and I went straight to SM Southmall from Manila (it's friday --- we take a break from reviewing and go home South) because Tony Moly opened a branch there. We were so excited because, at last! Tony Moly within our reach. Sad to say, it is only a counter in the department store. Meaning, store sales (like the one currently ongoing) doesn't apply there and points can't be earned on the membership card. Boo! :(

So we went around, and landed in Etude House. I saw the strawberry curling thing, and boom. I needed a basket to lug around items. Ha ha ha. Also, I passed by Yves Rocher and got a face masque because it was on sale.

So here's what I got:

Yves Rocher Face Masque

Freebie! Not too happy with this though
I'm so excited to try out both bottles of body wash! They smell so divine! Yummy enough to eat. Rawr.

Hope you liked my haul! Reviews to be posted soon.
Any product here you've tried? Do share!

PS. I miss blogging. And reading your blogs too.

Etude House Haul - plus something really cheap

at 3:22 AM 4 comments
Hello Lovelies! I know I’ve been MIA and I’m truly sorry for that. Everything’s just so hectic, I’m still trying to catch up. As of now, I have to step up my game in almost all subjects in my review. Since Christmas vacation started, I’ve only been able to read on one subject and solve about 20 problems. That’s so lame! Gaaaaaaaaa. Anyway, I won’t prolong the babbling and ranting.

I absolutely adore Etude House and their overly-pink store! Don’t get me wrong now... I am not a girly girl. I just love how a girl can get all princess-y and cute-sy just by entering the store. Plus, I’ve always been treated nicely by the SAs. Sometimes though, it gets a bit awkward when I don’t plan on buying anything and just want to look around. Teehee ^_^;

So this is what I got the last time I went there. (SM Southmall branch, btw)

11/11/11 Mini Haul

at 12:00 PM 4 comments
Hello Ladies!

This 11/11/11, I went out to see two friends whom I won't be seeing for a while because I will start my review for the CPA boards next week! (that's six months of isolation T_T). I bought a few stuff too from Watsons and Etude House. Hopefully, I get to review all of them before everything gets way too busy.

(the camera is still "sick", and i don't know what the problem is. Sorry for the crappy-er photos than usual)

The brand name is "Tea Tree", something new to me

A 5-brush set

iWhite Nose Pack

Etude House Volume Falsies

PureDerm Nose Pore Strips

I'm so excited to try out the falsies as this is my first time to do so. Stay tuned! :)

Have you tried out anything from this haul? How'd it go? :)

PS. I forgot to take an individual photo of the GreenTea Nose Pack from Etude house. ^_^

Surprisingly, a Major Haul.

at 12:42 AM 5 comments
Yes, dear readers, this is indeed another haul post. Keeping me inside the house just made me a shopping monster. I usually don't spend much and don't buy things at the same time but this.. this is something.

I won't disclose how much I spent, but I went way overboard my usual budget. I think the problem was that I didn't set a budget for this particular shopping spree. I just wanted to buy, buy, buy! (It also didn't help that I would console myself by saying that it would be okay because I can put it in my blog. I know... not a good thing!)

I promise this would be my last overbudget shopping spree. You guys are my witnesses! ^_^

Moving on... These are the items that I got:

Gaga over shopping!

Mini HBC Haul.

at 10:59 PM 2 comments
It’s been more than a week since my last day in college. Trapped inside our home, with no accounting to worry about, all I could think of was THIS... MY BLOG.

... and shopping, of course. Hahaha.

Last October 20, Dad, Mum, and I dined at Pancake House. Just around the corner (literally), there stood an HBC outlet. So while waiting for the food to come, I went there and bought, almost by instinct, these items:

(L-R: San San Nail Polish in Luxury Black and Colorless, San San Matte Finish Liquid Foundation,
Bobbie Nail Polish in Emerald Glaze, San San Nail Polish in French White
Below: Lip brushes)

This mini-haul wasn’t planned at all, and I didn’t bring anything, not a dime, not even my phone fercherrisakes, and I am so glad that Dad financed this mini-haul. Teehee. Thanks Dad!

By the way, I used the white and clear nail polish for my first-ever cracking polish (successful) attempt which I won’t post, just because it isn’t post-worthy and you guys might condemn me. Haha. The black one I plan to also use as base for cracking polish, and the emerald one, well, I just think it's pretty.

The San San Liquid Foundation is my first liquid foundation and I plan to write a review on it so watch out for that :)

What items do you buy from HBC? Tell me lovelies! :)
